GPS Buses.

So, i get the feeling buses already have GPS transmitters in them, so, why doesn't the various companies release this information so it can be plotted into Google Maps, or into a mobile app.

It would be so useful to see how far away your bus is.

And whilst i am talking mobile apps. Wikipedia should release an app called 'Did you know?'.

The app uses GPS to tell you local facts and information relevant to your location.

Can i have both of these please, now please.
