Social Suicide.

Social Suicide has just opened a store in Ganton Street in London and they come with something special.

The hotter it is the more money you get off their range of super clothes. The hotter the day, the less you pay!

In store they have a live feed from the Met Office so they know exactly how much to give off.

Amazing, brilliant, wise, 2.0 shopping!

You are brilliant, i will be coming to see you, uhhhh, Sunday!

STOP THIEF!!!

Jane Fonda pinched Deletes website!

Filthy light fingered wench.

I can't imagine she is going to be very Fonda the prison food.

And look at the background of Deletes site, Jane working out.

And 2 and 3 and shake it out.

New Treehouses of the World.

Just ordered my copy of the new book by Pete Nelson.

Oh yes!

Red Rabbit.

Red Rabbit from Egmont Mayer on Vimeo.

Egmont Mayer you are a wonderful person, thanks for this.

Ace!

Bleedin brilliant Banksy!

I spent the weekend back in Gloucestershire, and on Sunday morning Mum and i went to Bristol where we queued in the rain for 2 and a half hours to see Banksy Vs Bristol Museum!

Oh my lord!

It is truly incredible!

Basically there is a room full of new canvases, then there is a room with some magical installations in, and then, as you walk around the other gallery exhibits you find other Banksy pieces. There was even a closed off room, that i am sure most people missed.

If you only do one thing in the next month get down to Bristol and see it. It is one of the best things i have ever experienced, you won't be disappointed. If you are disappointed tell me and i will give you your money back, oh no, hang on, i won't, as you won't spend any as it is free to get in.

This will be talked about for years, he has basically taken over an art gallery and museum in a way i have never seen done before.

Awe inspiring!

Intelligent!

Witty!

Controversial!

A bleedin Bristolian genius!

Tilt-shift.

It was only a matter of time before an ad agency used tilt-shift to execute a campaign.

Well done Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe London.

Stages09.

I like bikes. All types, especially BMX's. They are lovely things.

Anyway, as part of Stages09 they have got a load of creative types to design some of the bikes for Tour des Francey.

Take a look, some very super things.

Lance Armstrong, we salute you are what you have done for people.

Choc-ah-dooby.

Jonno just reminded me of this.

What an awesome awesome ad it was!

Taser, taser, taser.

This is a brilliant clip.
]
I love it for many reasons, the 'taser' x 3 call, the clapping, the big strong men helping the victims down.

But the reason i like it most is that the 3 people getting shot are all ladies.

Dave 'f*ck off am i being shot by one of them'

Tim 'Ah, i am allergic to electricity, i come up in a rash'

Mike 'No way, it's a taser man'

Steve 'Get lost, that is going to hurt'

Bill 'I'll do it is Carl does it'

Carl 'Hmmm, i've, i've, i've got a weak heart, it might not be best'

Taser. Tested on ladies cause you men ain't big enough.

Invading the vintage.

Odd, but rather nice i feel.

Bog off.

As if a number 2 isn't good enough, now even the bi-product can make us happy.

Happy.

Twitcher©.

I just had a brilliant idea.

Twitcher© is a social media network where bird watchers get to upload the latest sightings of birds across the globe. Then all twitchers subscribe to the channel so that they can quickly see the latest spotting's and act upon it is indeed they are close enough to pop out with their binoculars and notebooks.

Anyone got any money and some free time? Let's do it.

Speaking of birds check these out. Lovely.

The Shocker Chopper.

Awesome!

Nothing more to say.

The Moon.

Awesome site all about the journey to the moon.

All original photos, communications, everything you could wish for.

Tranquility itself.

Did you know it took 102 hours to get to the moon?

I keep expecting to hear 'i lost the second craft, we got problems...what's that flare, a green flare, coming from Mars....tracking station 43.....come in...'

Really nice little idea for Toyota Prius.

They have planted a series of solar powered flowers that offer Wi-Fi and charging points.

Good work.

BAPE.

I like BAPE.

I only wish i could afford to purchase their goods.

Anyway, not only do they have some nice new sneaks out but they have also opened a store in London for me to look in the window of*.

* I can never bring myself to walk into these types of stores for fear of disappointing the sales staff with my jumpers and plimsoles**.

** Aren't they rather cool now-a-days?

Screw it up!

Lovely idea, although might i say it does appear to be a total waste of paper...

Bicycling.

I have started to get the bus to work everyday, so much nicer than the tube, and can i say, since being on the bus i can see why so many cyclists get knocked off and buggered up.

I salute all you cyclists that abide by the simple rules of the road, but you lot that slink through red lights, that fly down the inside of traffic queues, that ignore zebra crossings, you ain't giving your fellow good bikers a good name.

Stop it! Please.

It is hard enough for bikes and motor vehicles to share the same space, without you lot ignoring basic rules.

And, whilst you are it, get yourselves one of these.

Nice helmet.

The kerchief.

I never ever realised that there was such a thing as a 'kerchief'.

Of course i was aware of the hand based version, but i never knew there where other options.

I have learned something new today, what a thrill.

Dry muffin.

Fern, we will miss you.

Dunking a bit of beef..

Aphex V Little Girl.

Speechless!

Brilliant, celebrated, distinguished, eminent, excellent, exceptional, glorious, illustrious, magnificent, prominent, splendid, and superb!

This man made it. Thank you. And thanks Priyanka.

Do you recognise this man?

I have noticed something in recent months.

Campaigns are running with such low level celebrities that the ad has to carry the name of the person in the ad.

L'Oréal are running some posters at the moment with Patrick Dempsey in and they are obviously a bit concerned that people won't realise they spent a shed load on getting a named celeb, so they feel the need to put the name under the photo.

Soon ads will carry links to the Wikipedia entry of the face used.

Or we will get little footnotes.

* You know, he was the one who dated that girl from that show that used to be on ITV, you know, before the news, the blonde girls boyfriend, he was the one that was the usher at that famous couples wedding, you know? Don't you? Him? Man?

Low IQ.

I wasn't a great fan of the Toyota iQ 'I_AM_UNIQUE' campaign when it landed at the start of the year.

I have now just seen the above.

They have used the iQ to make a font.

Now, don't get me wrong, as a creative type i think this is pretty sweet, fonts are lovely things, but i imagine if you mention the word 'font' to alot of people they would only think of Mr H Winkler of Milwaukee, Wisconsin or that i was off to a christening.

Nice, but why would potential customers want a font, and what would they do with it? They should have done this earlier and got the font into all the initial communications then got people to actually do something with it.

Anyway, i'll sshhh now, back to work.

Jumping the shark.

Air traffic.

Nice.

Bas Jan Ader.

Bas Jan Ader was a Californian/Dutch artist who set sail in a small boat in 1975 and was never seen again.

His work is amazing, it is a bit like artistic Jack Ass.

Take a look.

Let me be your fantasy.

Sweet.

Lightening bolt! Lightening bolt!

I think this is the funniest thing i have seen.*

* Does not include all the funny things i have seen in my life.

Fun Boy Tree.

Diego Stocco got bored of drum machines, so took to his favourite tree.

Would you be leaf it.

Prototype.

I have an Xbox 360 which i very rarely play as i get bored of games to easily, they just don't keep me engaged.

Anyway, i want a new game and rather liked the look of this bad boy.

Anyone played it? Any good? Love the visual, so rather hope the game play can keep me hooked for a bit.

We all love a good outbreak.

Perhaps they should quickly rename it 'Swine Flu'. 'In a world where no one is immune......'

Tour de France

Texas based photographer Brent Humphreys goes to the Tour de France every year to document what goes on.

Have a look at this, an amazing insight into the lives of the people who follow the biker people. Well nice.

What ever happened to the Milk Race? Ah, it lives.

Tour de France!!!!!

Second Hand Plates.

A lovely series of crockery from Karen Ryan.

The Duckworth Lewis Method.

Thanks Jake, i simply can't stop listening to The Duckworth Lewis Method.

If you like cricket and enjoyed a bit of Neil Hannon, then get yourself a copy of the long player.

Fancy dan.

I spent the weekend in Edinburgh with my darling friends Jo and Dean.

It was a simple delight.

Anyway, Old Boy - seen here scaling the North Face of Eica Ratho commented on a local and said 'look at him and his fancy dan dress sense'.

It was a magic moment.

I hadn't heard the term 'fancy dan' for so long, and i am sure you hadn't either.

We then spent the entire weekend over using the saying.

'Check out that girl with her fancy dan haircut'

'OB, over there, the man with the fancy dan jersey'

'yes, him, him with his fancy dan gait'

Anyway, please make sure you use this term as much as you can in the coming months and lets have us fancy dan christmas.

Canyoning.

So, i went to Switzerland.

Whilst in Switzerland i went Canyoning.

With that in mind, if you are ever in Switzerland, get in touch with this lot and go, if you don't you are stupid and silly and should probably have some form of regret.

Album art.

Awesome little idea from Word Magazine.

The Verve were sitting in Richmond Park on the cover of Urban Hymns, how awfully unrock and roll.

I wonder if they had just had a nice picnic and played some Frisbee?

Depeche Le Roux.

Last month i was captured by the talents an delights of Little Boots.

This month i have been captured by the talents and delights of La Roux.

Next month i will be telling you of this new act i have heard of called the Beetles*.

Anyway, get some La Roux, Uncle Danny would have been so proud.

* The word 'Beatles' was incorrectly spelt to strengthen the aforementioned 'gag'.

Bertone Carabo.

Designed in 1968 by Gruppo Bertone.

If only this had made it in to production.

A most amazing thing!

Such lovely things, i might buy one even tho i don't use my bike regularly.

Yes please.

The Shamen.

I have always been a massive fan of The Shamen, why wouldn't you be?

Anyway, they had a split from the record label One Little Indian back in the 90's - founder of which was Derek Birkit.

It was obviously a pretty shitty split, as they quickly recorded a final album under One Little Indian called it Hempton Manor and then spelt out 'FUCK BIRKET' using the song titles.

I now like The Shamen even more.

E's are good?

Pretty cute little ad for VB Beer.

How to make a number 1.

Take one catchy well known song...

...simply add a Euro house flavour, a pinch of female vocal, leave for a couple of weeks, and...

...a number one.

Fresh out the oven.

Well done David.

The Jackson.

I have been awfully saddened by Jacko leaving us all so suddenly, so unannounced.

He was a legend.

He pushed pop.

He pushed dancing.

He pushed the music video.

And of course, some would say he even pushed himself onto little ones, but hey...who knows.

Anyway, i just saw this, his games room.

Sad you have left us Michael, your music will keep entertaining us for a double long time.

And to think, without Mike we wouldn't have had the hee hee.

Cha'moan MJ, cha'moan.

Only in America??

2012?

I have been away from my work station for a week so have only just seen this:

Is it fo real?

Is this being made/been made?

Using money and stuff?

And is it called '2012' because 'The Day the Earth Stood Still after Tomorrow Indepedance Day happened again II' was just to long?

Shocking rubbish rubbish.

MT V good!

Some lovely rebranding work from Univeral Everything.

Trying to work out how they did this.

Is it using processor motherboard computer systems, or clever film based footage darkroom techniques?

Murmur.
